What LT Select is
Selected, not simply purchased.
LT Select is intended for commercially focused fiction and practical nonfiction that fits the house but does not belong under the literary imprint.
We still choose the books. Acceptance cannot be bought, and not every project is suitable for the list.
What the author contributes
Serious revision, timely decisions, participation in production, promotional effort, and a greater share of the practical and financial commitment.
How it differs from services
A services client hires us for defined work and keeps the project entirely independent. An LT Select author joins the imprint and enters an ongoing publishing relationship.
How rights and costs are handled
Fees, royalties, rights, ownership, reporting, and exit provisions are stated before the agreement is signed. There are no hidden packages or surprise add-ons.
The standard
The production standard does not change.
LT Select books receive the same attention to editing, design, formatting, and presentation expected across the house.
The model is different. The care is not.
